Firstly, had I know it was blue label I wouldn't have bought it but here we can see some great quality control. It was a good price from a seller I use a lot and wasn't listed as brit so I went for it. Will be a major hindrance to send back so I'm going to brush all back and cost with bonda. This is a brand new part!!!

Quite normal, the primer they paint on is really just a transport coat, otherwise they'd have to oil the parts.

I rub them back to key and paint them anyways.

So long as the welds are OK and it's straight it will be fine

Hate to at it but they all come like that lol

The same was true of my new galv front turrets from them, bought them ages ago, stored in the house, opened yesterday rust starting to edge through at the top! Appaling! To late to send back, will just have to crack out my yellow hammerite after a good t wash! (was looking for an excuse to do that anyway), still, a bit peeved as you get galv for a reason...

You can do better than hammerite
