Good evening all. Thought I had better introduce myself as I have already used this site for a good few searches already. I have finally convinced the wife into purchasing our first 4x4 and due to the budget I found a tidy TD4 Freelander on a 04 plate for a bit under 2k. I convinced her with the hardtop being a convertible!
As we have a 13 week old puppy and two small children it seems the perfect time. Thankfully, I have a good amount of experience with self maintaining vehicles so the car has had a good going over already. Obviously a few small issues but after 100 miles and some debate about regulators, the alternator has decided to let go. That will be next weekends project before the dog walk!
From what I have already seen, there is a wealth of experience on here, and any help/advice will always be appreciated. I have also noted that my choice of vehicle will atttact an element of Michael extraction!
