 I own a 2000 td5,when the brakes are applied at over 50 mph,the steering wheel wobbles,at under 50,it wobbles less the slower you go,at 30,you cannot notice it.i`ve been told that its a buckled alloy,a mis-shapen tyre or a warped disc, any more idea`s???:eek:

its worth holding drag link and track rod in turn while someonr rocks steering wheel vigorously you will feel any play if there is any and where it is

yes, there is pulsing,i will buy new discs, would you recommend brembo?,great on Italian bikes.
No, waste of money on a tank, OEM are well up to the job with Mintex pads. Don't forget, new discs need to be bedded in with gentle braking for the first couple of hundred miles or you may warp them.

thanks,i`ll invest in a pair of original lr discs, what are the prices, would you recommend a supplier?
I use Island 4 x 4, don't know the price for the Disco but cheap enough for the P38 so probably similar. New pads should also be fitted.
Make sure the caliper sliders and pistons are free, a sticking caliper will heat a new disc up in no time and may ruin it.

I usually go with MM 4x4 if i'm happy to wait a couple of days for delivery or Keith Gott if I want to pick it up that day, Gott's is a little more expensive and does deliver but I'm local enough and if I need it in a hurry, which is usually, it's handy.
Try and find a good local(ish) LR parts specialist as you never know when you might have an emergency and they're are usually a good source of knowledge too
