Just picked up an MOT failed discovery 300tdi.
I was going to break it but its a pretty good truck and I thought I would see if anybody is looking for a good base to build an off roader.
This is the non sunroof model and the interior and exterior are pretty good.
It has 110000 miles on the clock and the engine pulls like a train.
The gearbox is great and I usually don't like manual discos but this was easy to drive.
I thought I would put it out there in case anybody wants it as it is.
I can make plenty by breaking it but if someone can weld then it would be a nice little truck for £1000
I will get some pics in the morning when I am going to check out how bad the rust really is.

It's a shame about the rust, it's going to need new sills both sides and some other bits. If you wanted a base for an off road weapon and happy to do some work yourself like fitting better sills or rock slider sills then everything else is good. Engine, gearbox, interior. Had a little wobble between 65 and 70 otherwise ok, could be tyre balancing. Bit if a squeal on start up so maybe a pully on way out, headlining sagging boot floor been replaced with non origional part but apart from a little hole near the rubber it

Pm me your number and I will send you a video of it starting from cold.

It's still complete and pictures can be found on my other post.

are you going to the anniversary bash as I'm interested in the dickie seats and the boot door card if you were to break it?

I wasn't planning on it unless I get a list of bits presold to bring.

As this is more of a Landyzone show I expect it will be mostly regulars who want either defender bits or off road bits and if they need anything disco will have a look on the great for sale threads on here. :)
