... if I can get 50mph before braking for the roundabout at The Air Balloon, then I know she's running sweet :5bhurray:[/QUOTE]

my series tdi can manage 65 all the way up the hill!!! tis great overtaking normal cars in a muddy landy with no roof and the tyres singing!!

That hills an engine killer up to the air balloon. Number of overheated cars when theres traffic is shocking. Have seen whole bunch steaming at the pull in half way up before

50 to 60 normally, have had the old girl up to 70 a couple of times

didn't buy a fender to go fast, I jump on my bike if I want that

easy Dewin, mines so slow I`ve only just read mud muppits mumblings..

0 to 60 in some time or nuther, mud or tarmac.....:D

but I is old enuff to not bother,
young enough not to care,

well much.....;)

but i do smile :) a lot at comments...

how bout you...;)

werent havin a go at anyone in particular just expressing, as everyone else speed dont matter.mumblings indeed.
waffle on.

70 once on a motorway, I soon backed off to a more dignified 65, even at this things are a little hairy, by god going from a Vr6 to a landy has dramatically changed my driving style and brought my blood pressure down....I just love tootling around now, The kids "are we there yet?" Me "we'll get there if we get there!" Bliss

Can get her up to 110 km/h on the autostrada if I want but much prefer cruising at 90 km/h (what would that be in mph?)

:D

just thought, my current scooter
(yes all larf, but I love `em too)

will do 100,
ok kph......

did have an aprilia scoot tuned to fook,
but scared the brown stuff outa me at 90plus mph,

but done about the same mpg as the doosel landie....:eek:
A SCOOTER next you`ll be saying your a plane spotter...

got my 200tdi over 40, and her on MTs anorl. in fact, when I applied my boot to the stop pedal in the rain this morning, she performed a very elegant skating action right over the top of a previously unspotted mini roundabout and continued along the carriageway quite gracefully, so I'd say thats plenty fast enough.

tippy top she'll go flat out (round the rockery in the back garden, mind) on roadies and in the dry is 82mph give or take a smidge.

Mine will sit comfortably at 65 all day long. But usually stick to about 60 for fuel economy on the motorway and the speed limit in built up areas, (I likes my baby to be seen):D
