How fast is you Landy?

Mine will do over 70, (S3 109 D), no problem, but I consider it cruel and heartless and......................... bloody noisy

My IIA 1-Ton will do about 65 flat out and absolutely screaming - no fun at all on 900x16s and with such low gearing. Been a long time since I had anything like that kind of speed out of it. Its normal cruise is about 40-45 depending how flush I am feeling for petrol money (it does only get 12 mpg)
My 110 Puma is of course limited to 82, which it has done on the continent, again not very pleasant, the handling is crap at those kind of speeds, its noisy and very thirsty. I usually cruise it at about 60 which seems nicer. In any event, its limited to 50 on single carriageway, 60 on a dual and 70 motorway anyway so no need to rush.

I've had 90 out of the 2a and it was still wanting to go but I thought if I go any faster it will self destruct!

Never again though I've still got the stains in my pants!!

My v8 disco did about 70 on the way home wen i bought it, but back an forward 2 work it does 50/60, which 2 b honest, it dont like, an i dont like! Its hard work tryin 2 keep in a straight line! Wobble wobble!:crazy_driver: good fun tho, i just think she's trying 2 tell me that goin 2 work thru the woods is more fun!

I got 100mph down a BIG hill (on a private road obviously) in my disco 300tdi but the dash rattling and fear when my girlfriend in car in fronts brake lights come on wobbled everywhere wouldn't do it again to ****ing scary

Only way it would go faster is to drop it off a cliff lol!

had over 100 in my 90, but i was ****ting bricks, even with no wind its freaking scary, probably won't do it again, but i've done 90 a couple of times, but usually just 50-60 or 70 on the motorway even if you do get bashed about when you pass trucks. prefer to clamber rather than crash although the D3 is alot nicer to drive faster

I would un out of fuel before I hit 70 mph ( really need to get a disco transfer box sorted )

Nor here! Don't know how fast Silverlandy goes...not worried as long as she can tow effortlessly...which she does

mine will comfortably do over a ton but it would be cheaper to sit at home and use £10 notes as fag papers!!!

I dont know how fast it will go (or care come to that) its to heavy to stop quick in a hurry so dont push it, its quick enough for A road limits , what more do you need.

Had mine upto 120 not bad for a standard 200tdi

Good grief, there is no way that I could keep Tilly in a straight line at that speed, bad enough at 60!:cool2:

That is 120Kmph on the AP7 in southern Spain!
