Freelander 2 with 53k miles.yesterday on starting engine management light came on and it wouldn't rev over 1500. After several tries got engine running ok, but light stayed on. On switching off after getting home ~20miles - loud buzzing/clicking noise from front of engine for about 20 seconds. Tried a few more start stop and noise still comes, but not when engine is running.

Any ideas?

thanks for comment. What's an introduction for. Never had this bother with the Fourtrack folk. Does my Hicap Defender qualify better?

Ignore the renegades. The introduce yourself section is where you place your first post without any information about who or where you are.

At that point 64,958 unpaid, but highly skilled members will compete amongst themselves to provide free and unbiased information as quickly as possible, 24/7/365.

You can then leave and never post again, secure in the knowledge that you got yours and sod everyone else.

The aforementioned members will then return to their cages and develop interesting ways of hiding bananas up their rectum.

Its ya flugel valve matey need to rotate it 90 degrees while standing on 1 foot singing the national anthem of uzbekistan.:rolleyes:

failing that cover the gaylander in petrol and strike a match!:D
