Does anyone have, or know of, a RRC Dizzy strip-down proceedure. The advance mechanism on mine does not work - it may well have seized or detatched inside. Am I better off trying to fix it OR replace it with a new one? How much effort would be involved? Thanks in advance for any advice / help.

Is it possible to fit a distributor from a 3.9 Range Rover into a 1988 3.5 efi RRC ? Has anyone done this before, I envisage problems in connecting the ignition module. I think the 3.9 is a 3-pin, and the 3.5 a 2-pin. Anyone help me?

I'm getting the same whirring noise by the sounds of it! Also had a slight 'burning' smell come into the cab. Whirring continued for about 1 min after turning off the engine, stopped again after re-starting the engine. Noise seems to come from passenger side of the engine bay, above the wheel...
