RRC Dizzy strip-down proceedure ?

Does anyone have, or know of, a RRC Dizzy strip-down proceedure. The advance mechanism on mine does not work - it may well have seized or detatched inside.
Am I better off trying to fix it OR replace it with a new one? How much effort would be involved?
