RRC dizzy - 3.9 into a 3.5 ??

Is it possible to fit a distributor from a 3.9 Range Rover into a 1988 3.5 efi RRC ?
Has anyone done this before, I envisage problems in connecting the ignition module. I think the 3.9 is a 3-pin, and the 3.5 a 2-pin.

Anyone help me?

Hi,
I have just stripped my RRC 3.5 EFI Dizzy and replaced the pick up coil and the amplifier.
The new amp has a different plug with three pins and you use only Pins 1 and 3.
