I'm ordering a new defender to replace my td5. The dealer doesn't actually seem that knowledgable. I'm looking at a 90 hardtop (panel van), there is an entry level and an XS model, the difference between them is £5000, However it seems you can spec a base model to xs spec for £2000. Surely I'm...

Iv got a similar issue. When I turn the lights to first position, headlights come on When I turn lights to 2nd position, the lights stay on and nothing gets brighter When I flick main beam to constant on, nothing happens When I flash mi main beam they work correctly. It's boggling my mind!

Spring spacers....

Springs are handed.... Are they the wrong way round?

NRC 4304 Fitted all round on my 90, nice smooth ride Cheap as chips, less than £50 the set

Range rover classic springs are lovely and soft :)

If your old springs were heavy duty then the truck will sit higher than with medium duty springs, that could be why the height is different

Can't you just change the springs back to standard? Will cost you £40?
