ah the older ones. I has disco 1 200tdi. It has sills and rear chassis something. I forgot. Replaced. Then two years later. I scrapped it. That engine was good. 275,000 still going. Now in defender to someone’s smiling face. It is shame they don’t build a new galvanised chasssis...

It is quite strange to see this 53 with chassis issue ?

I did see that. Rear chassis seemed painted with waxoyl. I was thinking about that. Surface rust on axle rear.

Yes. I put new rubber seals no leaks now. No sealants. Only issue now is the gap at the top window to the door rubber is bigger lol.

Two inch lift. They will be fine. Check the bushes maybe renew the bushes but they will be okay with two inch Any higher then yes different can of worms

Fab. I have same ex mod ffrr. May I ask what engine is in yours ? I ve has it now for three years. Not touched a thing lol. Apart from replacing shock dampers and bushes and new alternator. Those split windows. I removed the tops and put rubber seal in to stop water get in lol. I'm e is 2.5 n/a

Flat, so u fitted PAS onto your military 2.5n/a. I'm looking to do the same. But am not sure how or what bracket I need go use. Any pics of pump with bracket etc. I know I need a steering box off. Discovery with 4 bolt etc. Any tips or pics will help my 90 military -)
