Also have a look at the back of the engine, as there are a few pipes at the back that may leak especially if they have been used for gas conversion. If you remove the plastic part that houses the pollen filter and get right up on the engine and have a good look down there. Hope you've sorted...

That sounds similar to mine accept mine stayed inactive and wouldn't reset. I have had that message up before and reset with the lock to lock technique but this time had to have it reset at Indy, who also put it down to gremlins or somthing similar. If it's been OK since don't sweat it : -)

I think the timing chain has 2 tensioners on it. There is 1 at the top of the engine inbetween both pullys on the end of each cam (the top 2 points of a V) then there is another where it goes onto the crankshaft, this is a longer distance. Maybe this tensioner is knackered and the chainer is...

I would buy one already converted. My conversion cost me £2000 a few years ago on a L322, it was a multipoint inj and I haggled a bit as it was £2200 origonally. Before conversion the RR was doing aboout 17-18 MPG after conversion it is doing about 14MPG on Gas but at least half the price...

Not had this problem I'm afraid, but would check all your connectors relating to your windscreen wipers in case water is getting in there and causing it to short ? Adam

Thanks for reply, I had another track ay this weekend and ran the RR at lunch for about 10mins and this was enough (along with reduced opening and shuttings) to get the car to start again at the end of day. Ta.....................Adam
