hi there. recently stuck a 200tdi into my 90. turns over well but refuses to start. removed all glow plugs an there covered in oil, almost dripping off. any ideas? first on whats causing it an second, is it fixable???? cheers paul

thanks for that. yeah checked fan belt. re-charged my battery which is at the right voltage but just checked the dash bulbs, no diode in the space where the battery light should illuminate. could it be as simple as a replacement??

thanks pos. Really unsure as to which route to take. i am 95% sure that the engine needs major work. it has been looked after by the previous owner but no evidence of engine work (if it ain't broken...) no harm in looking tho but will probably start wil injection system.. if that doesn't happen...

hi all. just a quick question. Is it possible to remove the pipe from engine breather/ oil filler hole to the air filter box?? (2.5TD) would it cause damage/ loose power? reason being is that there seems to be too much oil sitting in the bottom of the air box. thanks a lot :)

i have had a look at the pipes,did bent/ wavey on the rear axle, fronts are ok. have noticed that a have mipped the rear braided hose to the splitter. would this cause a problem?? also, am i right in thinking that braided hoses have no copper pipe in? if so can it be sorted with pliers to...

hi all. just fitted a new rear axle, RR with disks. all fitted in, bled brakes but have lost braking power. Have checked servo valve, new brake fluid in and new pads. Any Ideas?? thanks :)

Might be a really silly question but are defender (1986) an Ranger Rover (1984) wheel nuts the same?? need to buy a set of defender lock nuts. cheers

just had a thought. how does the enigine regulate the temp an operate the fan??? do you wire it straight to the thermostat or do you need an additional thermo in the engine somewhere?? thanks :)

Thats cool. do you know which make of radiator with lec fan would fit the original housin on the 90 or would it have to be treaked?
