New rear disk axle,now have sloppy brakes!?!

hi all.

just fitted a new rear axle, RR with disks. all fitted in, bled brakes but have lost braking power.
Have checked servo valve, new brake fluid in and new pads.


Any Ideas??

You've done summat wrong. When I fitted a disk upgrade axle to my 200TDi, Neil re-piped it all as well. Stopped much better immediately I got in it.

i have had a look at the pipes,did bent/ wavey on the rear axle, fronts are ok. have noticed that a have mipped the rear braided hose to the splitter. would this cause a problem??

also, am i right in thinking that braided hoses have no copper pipe in? if so can it be sorted with pliers to straighten it up?

I would replace. 2 things you must never take chances with are brakes and tyres (a bit obvious really)
