Hi My partner's recently converted his old Petrol V8 Defender 90 to diesel and as a result the transmission box is positioned nearer to the driver than as standard. This only leaves around 14" or so for a centre cubby box. Are there any out there that would fit, eg without cup holder...

That's a good point, and not one I'd thought of. There are also a lot of responsible drivers too though - and my glass tends to be half full. I have however asked that this thread be removed as I was just trying to be helpful..... Hey ho.

It's legal if it's with the chassis (rather than just buying the ID). I think people have got nervous about advertising such, making it bloomin difficult to now buy it! Tried eBay but they're gone/sold in a flash!

I'm desperately trying to buy a V5 & chassis for a Defender/90 as a birthday present for my partner who's doing a rebuild project and needs a V5 ID. I appreciate the difficulties with this ;) so it doesn't matter if the chassis is u/s. Can anyone advise/help please? Cheers.
