My damper outer ring on my freelander has come loose Ihave heard conflicting reports that you can simpy angle grind this off, and drive as normal , replace , and ive also been told that not all freelanders had this damper fitted , any help would be graet . thanks in advance ,

New switch arrived today, fitted, still had the dreaded 3 , still no brake lights , blown fuse for lights ,changed that, and BINGO ,3 amigos gone brake lights working . What a great post by pecos. this must save people a fortune cost me £21 all in and half hour to fit , Thanks Larmar

Hi guys thanks for your replies , firstly the flashing red light goes out when i open the door using the fob , secondly the lights on the dash are all bright with just a slight dimming when the key is turned , hope this helps you find the answer to my problem , thanks again , Lawrence

Hi guys just fitted a towbar and electrics , put in a lucas SFB 191 Flasher relay unit and now i get a ticking sound the faster i go the faster the ticking , all the lights amd flashers work fine but any one any ideas whats wrong , the part is supposed to be the equivelant of the landrover part...

Hi guys thanks for all your help so far , fitted new towbar no probs , wired up electrics no probs tried on a trailer no probs , wired in a buzzer as per instuctions , buzzer sounded even without a trailer , tried it with a trailer buzzer sounds but all the lights were flashing , i checked...

Hi again guys , took the plunge and bought a towbar for my freelander 03, do I have to take the lash down eye off altogether or just take the three inside bolts out ,thanks in advance

Bought my tow bar with electrics ( not the plug in type ) do i just cut the wires and join the towbar electrics and buzzer to the car wire loom at the plug in the back of the car ?. thanks in advance , by the way its a 03 serangeti
