flasher relay upgrade HELP

Hi guys just fitted a towbar and electrics , put in a lucas SFB 191 Flasher relay unit and now i get a ticking sound the faster i go the faster the ticking , all the lights amd flashers work fine but any one any ideas whats wrong , the part is supposed to be the equivelant of the landrover part ywt1000l2 , :doh:
