does any one know if i can take my 90 for a m.o.t with the power steering not connected dont know if it will fail as its ment to be a power steering box

just done this conversion but having trouble with the high compression power steering tried to join my 19j steering box pipe to the 200tdi pump pipe got a local company to do it and the pipe keeps leaking how did u all do urs would it just be easier to fit a 200tdi steering box and dont bother...

had a look at her today and found the diesel filter was half full and there was no resistance on the fuel lift pump so im thinking it could a faulty lift pump

yer it was running fine in the disco and when i first put it in the defender it used to start then stall after about a min but then would run fine

hi ive put 200 tdi engine out of a discovery in my defender it starts staright away but i when i push the throttle it revs up abit then just loses all revs and tries to stall
has any one else ever heard of this prob need to get it sorted

on my 200tdi engine do i need a glow plug relay:confused: as i just put the wire straight on to glow plug no 4 as it was on my 19j been looking through some conversion guides but its not to clear

yer i got a thick white+red wire going to the starter solenoid but still got a thinner one left

hi all
brought my first landy but the pistion rings had gone in my 19j so brought a 200tdi lump and is just finishing off installing it
its my daily driver as well as my weekend toy

just finishing off my 200tdi conversion and ive got 4 wires left and i dont know where they go one is green and has two plugs on it one is white with brown tracer and one is white with red tracer does any one know where there ment to go
