m.o.t time

does any one know if i can take my 90 for a m.o.t with the power steering not connected dont know if it will fail as its ment to be a power steering box

What do you mean by not connected

the pump not being connected to the steering box

its a RFR as it was designed to be powered , if had been a manual box and yoy fitted a power ram and that was not working it would not matter , so either quick repair or fit a manual box HTSH

I'm not 100% which I guess makes my answer meaningless, but logically as long as:

1) No excessive movement in steering components
2) No fluid leaks

Should pass

MOT does not test effectiveness of power steering, unless of course you need muscles the size of I don't know what to turn the wheel
