I have them on my 90 nice and smooth on the road for a mud terrain tyre, Haven't used them off road yet so cant comment how good they are.

Haha well done lad, my uncle owned a couple of toyotas ( Hilux surf and Land Cruiser) and he had loads of trouble with them both. I much prefer my landys :D

I get about 25-30mpg depending on how i drive in my TDI 90, how easy is it to get parts for the 90 where you are from? a landy at that age might need some TLC

i got a 1986 LR 90 and that hasnt got power steering, doesn't really need it i think

keep the N/A engine, it will last ages if you look after it properly and its cheaper to insure than a 200tdi
