the rear cross member on the end of chassis rails has got a lot of rott on the offside and has become a hole above the mounting point is this a mot failure and if so is it a big job. craddocks do the cross member for £119. any advice needed as mot up in three weeks. thanks jj

my passenger door regulater went 2 years ago had it replaced at a cost of £128 with fitting plus vat then it went again 18 months later only had a 12 month warrenty then cost £132 then to be told by a mate he could have welded it as its the spot welds that go or somethimg like that. JUST MY LUCK

they are not cheaper from landrover they only sell the complete sunroof kit i have seen them on ebay £23 p&p. apparently there is a sunroof seal from peugeot but not sure if its the 206 or 306 its ment to be a perfect fit.

i ve fitted an a-bar on my 300 and have also seen bullbars fitted on a mates and they were a staight fit. they hook up under the bumper and bolt on to the two chassis ends which have two nut and bolts on each took about 45 mins.

try halfords they had the bulbs on a b.o.g.o.f offer not long back got some for my 300. if you do a lot of driving on high beam fitting spots will help ive fitted 8 inch wipacs with 100 watt bulbs.

if the wiring is like the 300 the rear door speakers and pre amp as fitted on mine will not work off a non land rover stereo unless you are willing to undertake a rewiring job thats why i opted for seperate subs and amp. hope this helps.

38.90 the last 1 cost last month second one in three years, but iam prepared got a booster pack in the boot, s*** just remembered it flat been jumping cars at work :eek:
