try heating the grease up in a hot water bath befor u put it in, thats how i do it

Just put a bit of brake fluid in the power steering resiviour . I know of it lasting years as a fix, I dont know why it works just does!

as much as it pains me to say it,if i were you id use the disco as a toy and get a 90 when it rusts out. And then having a car for every day road use. 3k will get you a lot of car and not a lot of 90. As nice as it is to drive a 90 every day, and i do, its a pain in the ass in the maiddle of...

I can tell you even with a defender 200 is a pain to get in and out!

What state are the swivel pins / baerings in?
If one side is slightly more warn that the other it may account for 0.15' of camber difference .

Iv gone through this with my 200tdi , took a lot of new parts and even more frustration to find out it was the gauge !
I fitted a mechanical temp gauge And it works with no electrics to go wrong

my latest noise tured out to be a prop uj, but if its at the front then yopu would notice that from about 45mph shaking the steering.
jack up the wheels in turn abd spin them that will give you a clue as were to start.

Why not just suck it and see, if your springs are good you may be ok.

Mine sagged loads after I fitted which and bumper. So fitted HD springs.

I have replased my front springs with standard HD springs as it sagged after fitting the winch and other bits to my 200tdi 90.
Im now about to replace the rears to try and level it up again, but cant decide wether to fit standard or hd springs. i dont do any towing or carry much heavey stuff...
