Didnt think of a body shop... good thinking. Ive passed the idea of main stealer as the clips most probably come attached to the trim and will almost definatly come in at more than £45+ dreaded from paddocks

I have searched the site and flebay but cant fine either a part number or the parts for sale. Im after the metal clips that secure the trim panel next to the windscreen not the three plastic trim buttons. Help!
Part numbers for the trim with clips are DCB500060PMA and 70PMA for right and left...

Hi, First post in this section. I need to replace a kaput alternator on a 1.8 non aircon freelander 2001 Yreg and wondered if all the cheep used ones on ebay from rover 25's and 75's fit straight on or if the mounts or pully are different or not. Seen some used but working for £20ish delivered...

Fitted yesterday in the rain and set up today by the local tyre exhaust centre. £21 all in and it drives like a different truck... It no longer has tight spots when steering, self centers easily when the wheel is released and has stoped the pas groaning when steering. Excelent result :)

Yep i'm sure it was our boys that had boots that came apart in the heat of the desert when they were in Iraq. Kit tested to distruction (Yes) Tested in the field while at war! :mad: Engines may be different though. :confused:

do you mean 200tdi and 300tdi? There both 2.5 and in 1998 the td5 was released which was also a 2.5.

Yep thats my plan b johnlad. plan a is to set it up from haynes and have it driving as sweet as my series 1 disco did after I changed the bars on it and that didnt cost owt at the garage :)
