Thanks Mick, I'll order a mix of stainless M6 bolts from ebay.
-
Does anyone know what the bolt sizes are for the front and 2nd row inner door panels?
I'm about to fit new panels to new galvo doors and want to fix them with stainless bolts.

I believe you'll notice the difference with Difflock ev1 (or Smith & Allan) in your LT77 (but not suitable for very early 4 speed LT95 gearboxes).
-
The Difflock Evolution oil also transformed my R380 gearbox, but when it was time to replace it I opted for the far cheaper Smith & Allan fully synthetic heavy duty gear oil 75w-80 API GL-4.

I had the same issue; found that the Britax TrendLine range suited the short 110 belts.

That's my point, I don't have need for a raised intake. All I'm after is a splash guard to cover the prone mesh intake. Why would I spend a couple of hundred pounds on a piece of kit I don't need? Seeing as the only option is the expensive Wolf option I'll fabricate something & save my money for...

Thanks Paul, that's exactly what I'm after; shame that it's an expensive piece of kit. I'll keep my eyes pealed on ebay or diy a solution.
-
Not the case here; can't think of a single neighboring farmer with one fitted! What do you farm, salmon?
-
The depth of water wasn't the issue so a full snorkel not required (+ if i dared to fit one, all my farming mates will rip the p*ss). All i need is a cover to prevent another idiot from forcing water down the air-intake. If no one makes a cover time for some diy...

During the recent floods, while tentatively entering 11/2' of water a careless Pajero coming the other way broadsided me with a wall of water (must have hit the water a 30mph!). The water went straight into the air intake of my 300tdi 110 and wrecked the air filter (fortunately no other damage)...
-
Thanks chaps - I'll give it ago with the fan & cowl in place - when this approach doesn't work I'll do it properly & take the cowl & fan off.
-
Servicing my 300tdi defender tomorrow; can anyone tell me if I can replace the aux drive belt with the viscous fan & its cowl in place?
-
Just bought Bearmach UJs at £7 for my spare front prop; haven't fitted them yet but they appear well made + they come with grease nipples.

Agreed, the 2 kw heater I use is of good quality & has fire prevention cut off.
-
Winter time, in an attempt to thaw the kids out in the morning (house has no CH) I run an extension lead (done the previous evening) from the wood shed with a timer & a 2 kw heater that sits in the 110. Half an hour before we leave for work/child minders the heater defrosts & warms the interior...
