Yup had the same problem with the rear ARB here too (now removed) ............... remove it is my advice as it is more dangerous left in place than removed from my experience :eek:

Well i've had 3 now ..... still got 2 and 1 broken up in bits in the garage for spares ;)
Main reason me and the Mrs got one was because we needed a BIG family car with 7 seats and we hate all the generic people carriers that are available :p

When fitting +2" HD springs to the 300tdi we just levered them in ;)
Had already fitted extended brake hoses though so no harm done :D

Also check the rear calipers for a build up of corrosion in the area where the pads seat as this can cause the pads to stick ....... if badly corroded the rust will chip off with a screwdriver or drift but this may then cause the pads to become a loose fit in which case i would advise replacing...

I used these tyres for about 7000 miles with no probs to speak of :confused:
Might be a bad batch??
Might be worth checking the rear trailing arm bush that fits to the chassis as when mine went the car was "rear steering" :eek: ............. had a couple of brown trouser moments i can tell...

Check prop UJ's ......... same symptoms turned out to be knackered UJ on the Mrs's 300tdi ;)
