Hi, would you mind telling me what you put on your Landy instead of the modular so?
I have the same on mine, only in silver and I want to smarten the old girl up a bit but the ZU wheels look a bit expensive - and therefore very nick able - so I am looking at alternatives.
Appreciate your...
OK guys, Let me rephrase my questions now I've done a bit more research.
I think my old compressor was one of the unbadged twin versions like the Britpart ones.
I'm considering the Ring RAC900
Has anyone got one of these and would recommend it.
If there is an alternative and reliable...
After fitting an Anderson connector under the bonnet I went to fit a connector to my twin pump compressor to find it's been nicked in the last week.
When I bought it the Tmax were all the rage but having a look tonight it seems their quality might not be that great.
So what would you...
I very nearly qualified for a Darwin Award myself using a hi-lift jack.
I have a Hamer 4 post ramp which lifts using hi-lift jacks, so I'm familiar with using them.
The Landy was on the ramps a couple of feet up, and with the car in the air I needed to jack up the back to get both wheels off...
I went yesterday
I used to go every year up to when it all got ugly with LRO when the breakaway shows started and it's my first time back.
It's got considerably smaller. There were club stands where there used to be sales stands. I'd guess about 1/3 smaller.
But it was a nice day out in...
Hi Chaps.
I've just completed a 670 mile round trip to pick up a mates TVR with a trailer. While the old girl performed admirably for the most part she really struggled with the longer motorway hills.
At one point I was running on the hard shoulder in 3rd at 25mph on the M2 which was scary to...
I've just had a similar problem with my 2.5TD which just turned out to be the petrol cap.
The cap should rattle when you shake it. If it doesn't try replacing it.
This is exactly what cured mine.
Have you looked behind the seats?
In the corner between the door lock catch and the bulkhead.
I can't remember if it will foul the reel seatbelt as I have harnesses, but I've just fitted some pod type speakers to the strengthener plate in those corners.
I've got one of these and its fabulous. I can wear it even in these temperatures with just a T-shirt underneath but without sweating my nuts off.
Whoever buys this won't be disappointed. Well, not until Spring when they have to put it away until next winter.
Did you know there is a 2 month...
Nice looking truck Airways.
Is it a Trakkers roof and tonneau?
I've never come across anyone else with one yet.
I know what you mean about needing extra space, its surprising how the lack of a roof means less space, even though you still have the same floor space.
Can't help you with the...
Thanks Ryder.
I've just dug out the last MOT and it actually expired Oct 30th 2008  and its been SORN'd since.
Blimey, time flies eh.
Today I think I'll take off the new rear brake hubs and paint them. I painted the last ones but they turned out to be square rather than round and had to...
I've finally got around to buying the fixings so I can fit the cargo track I've had in the garage loft for about 5 years but I'm not sure where to fit it.
I have a truck cab with MobileStorageSystems chest and drawer filling the floor so I have a flat load space in the back.
I was thinking of...
