Low Emission Zone – Compliance check

Thats all of us diesel drivers fooked if you want or need to drive within the M25 unless you pay £100 PER DAY. This is for both commercial AND private use. 24/7 365 days. Thanks very much.

Put your reg no. into the web site and it will tell you if your vehicle will be compliant after October 2010. Even the latest TD5s are not compliant. Hence the switch to the Puma engines.

If you happen to live in the LEZ then it will cost you £36,500 just to own the diesel Landrover you already have. One day it will be OK and the next not. No exceptions.

My parents, brothers, and sister live inside the LEZ and I have a County Station Wagon Landy as our family car because I live in the country and need it during the winter months. I cant afford two cars so what the f**k are people like me supposed to do when we go and visit family or friends?

both our cars exempt and my v8 too, our old shagger van won't be but our 54 plate is

What if you run veg oil do you get discount? say if you HAD to go into London?

Also could we not just drive around the M25 in low box in all three lanes in Protest?

As long as you can prove your landy meets the emission requirements you can get it registered as meeting the requirements. You should just be able to get an MOT or VOSA test done while running on vege oil to get the emissions low enough to be exempt.

OK IF I can get my emmissions down to somthing half decent then you can get discounts? so I'll wire in my air valve solonoid to my inj pump open it to air so no boost to turn the pump diaphram. Need a way to pump Clean air into the eggsaust then I ay stand a chance LEZ is a Joke!

My MOT emmissions have always been very very good with no boost pumping extra fuel into the engine as they cannot flick any switches Nor know which switch to switch off so it usually works well

and then spend the next month driving around London using old engine oil for fuel.

Some numpty in whitehall has listed Defenders as Large Vans.

Surely between now and then someone will put him straight.

Won't they?

London 2 Brighton should be fun in 2011!

Boris is "meant" to be extending it to 2012 but i am not holding my breath! If it goes a head next year then the L2B is on the 3rd October and the LEZ is on the 4th october! I rekon we should hold a go slow in protest

Anyway, i live inside the M25 and i am not in a London Council so **** em. The only reason i would ever go that way is to go shopping.... Not like i could always use the net or go to another shopping center. Also, i have looked and you can go up to about 2 Miles into the LEZ and not get caught.... No Cameras ;) So i can go to Chesington world of Adventures and go vist some friends who live in the zone :)

CSW's - Should not be in the charge, so if you fancy having a moan at the DVLA and getting them to change your V5 to Estate then good luck to you! But they sometimes won't change it. If you have a Old 110 that payed the car tax (was more) then you won't have to pay... Have a search on it - some people have got it to work... some have not.

And apartently if my Land Rover was produced 6 years earlier then i would not have to pay.....Because all cars before 72' are so clean :blabla:

Tis all a load of bollocks!

Oh yeah, i almost forgot! I can fit a loverly big V8 because they are so kind to the enviroment

Not subject to LEZ

Not subject to LEZ - Based on the information you have entered and information held by Transport for London (TfL), the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) does not apply to this vehicle. As long as the vehicle remains not subject to the LEZ the daily charge does not have to be paid for this vehicle when it is used in the zone.

Emissions classification for these dates is based on the Vehicle Type and the age of the vehicl
e

That's what I get, funnily enough!

What you got? If your Landy was made after 2002 it is automatically not included..... Because i am sure the Td5 changed alot between 2001 and 2002
