Christmas Land Rover Meet Up in London - 3rd December

Hello all!

On the 3rd December we are hosting a Christmas Land Rover meet up in Belgrave Square. The plan is to meet from 9:30am.

We encourage those attending to decorate their vehicles, think tree on the roof, lights and wreath on the grille.

The event is free to attend but in the true spirit of Christmas we ask that those who plan to attend make a small donation to our chosen charity, Crisis. https://www.justgiving.com/page/ctc-christmas-meetup

The meet up location is outside of the congestion charge zone but ULEZ/LEZ will be payable if your vehicle doesn't meet requirements. See our instagram page for updates!

That looks like spam. So I reported it.

It's not spam. If you check out our instagram page @landroversoflondon you will see posts about it.

Land Rover Classic and Twisted will be attending. We are organising the event in aid of charity.

I have no catalytic converter and no fuel to complete the round trip.
If you want to use my land rover for your display I'm £40ph to include the journey time plus fuel and overnight expenses...

You have posted 5 times on the forum. 3 of them are spam, 2 are explaining that the posts aren't spam.
Spam isn't just selling stuff, it could be promoting an event.
If you want to sell stuff, or promote events, contact the forum owners first, and ask if it is OK, or if they want money to do it.

I suggest taking up the generous offer of @Rock Basher , he is great entertainment, probably turn up with a dozen dead squirrels in his waistband.

Dead stuff requires a forward payment for the extra time spent ....

Be better for the environment to simply send Khan the ulez money instead.

I am going along anyway. Not sure which demo to do.

How to cook roadkill on a fire of tyres at the roadside?
Or what to do with a wheelbarrow full of bullock liver if your freezer has packed up?

Think I will keep em in suspense until the day.

I went to one of the Land Rovers of London meet ups earlier in the year. Was great causing havoc in the capital.

Went to the Land Rovers of London meet up yesterday and was amazing. Over 150 land rovers. Such an amazing turnout, and £2k raised for charity. Land Rover classic brought three cars and Alex Bescoby from the Last Overland was there.

£2k raised for charity but works out as about £2.7k ULEZ charges for 150 vehicles... not sure I see the logic!
