Hi I have a 1990, 200tdi Defender 110. I am looking into changing my tires, I have the original 7.5X16 which require inner tubes which I am told are being fazed out so I would like to go Tubeless. I am looking at 7" steel wheels
My Dilemma is should I go for 235X85X16 or 265X75X16.
I am told the 235 will fit straight on without any problems whereas the 265 might require the steering stops to be adjusted to stop the tires rubbing on the radius arms which will result in the already limited turning circle being reduced even more. However the 235 tires seem to be more expensive by about a hundred pounds for a set of four.
My other dilemma is should I go for Cooper St or Grabber AT2.
The Grabbers seem to be a little more expensive but from what I have read seem better in the snow. but the Coopers from what I have read will give more mileage.
I use my Landy as a general run about driving on Roads, dirt tracks, grass fields and on snow during the winter months. Having said that this last winter the Discovery bald'ish tires I have worked well in the snow even driving through snow drifts on untreated country lanes.
Any experiences or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need to sever the support to those revolutionary separatist pricks once and for all and spell it correctly "TYRES" , ffs.
