My name is Stu (Bigstoo) 
and I live in West Yorkshire, UK. I got my first LR 3 months ago (96 P38 RR) it had an initial cooling prob (head gasket), but now loving it. I dont think ill move away from LR now. I like the community feel you get when talking to other LR owners, either in person or on forums like this one.
Im fairly inexperienced mechanically, but im learning, and dont mind getting my hands dirty, cos id love to be able to service & maintain my rangey on my own. luckily i stumbled upon a local garage with ex-landrover mechanics, so ive got all the experience and know-how, but a 1/5th of the price.
ive posted a few topics already and tried to post replies where i think i might be able to help others, i know how i felt the first time i needed info, as boards like these are a god send.
