Last time I changed the oil in my heap I used the red top magnatech ,the one for petrol engines it was 10 or 15w 40 .the right grade anyway but could this harm the engine in any way ?
 
Well usually daft is the man with the technical info when someone has an oil/fluid related question.
No, I change every 5-8k miles.Last change was 2k ago I left it at what about 3/4 between min and max on the dipstick.
I started to feel a slight vibe through the accelerator and gearstick,just needed a top up to sort out.Its about 2 months since change.

Thanx anyway.
 
As above Im really impressed that he can tell oil level by vibration!Wish Icould do this,wouldnt need an oil light.Can all irishmen do this?Seriously though I think the oil will be fine.Change a bit sooner if in doubt.
