hi all, have a look at the videos in the link below I am trying to work out where the clucking in my drive train is coming from, it's not the normal aframe ball joint -see video, and I can't see movement anywhere else, but there seems a fair bit of movement in the engine and gearbox mounts, you can here the clunking in the vids but that me doing it on purpose, normally its just when I let the clutch up fast or when i'm not smooth with the gear changing or on then off the gas sharply.Any thoughts

Never mind the clunk - you might want to get your fuel tank craddle replaced before your fuel tank goes AWOL!!

ha ha its not bonny is it but its going nowhere unless the anti-roll bar breaks it passed the french mot like that believe it or not i have been looking for one though

cant tell alot from vids its prop ,diff ,t/box flanges you should vid ,fuel tank cradle would appear to need some attention, shouldnt fill tank too far ,jack each whel up in turn and fel for play ,same with diff flanges etc, remve pto cover and check input/mainshaft splines

i will do some more vids in the daylight, the props are fine the ujs are fine, i get less than a quarter turn on the front drive shaft with the hand brake on and a wee rock back and forward also with the hand brake on but people tell me this is normal ? there is no up down movement in any flange i feel it through the vehicle
not the steering ?
