Silly question probably, but what is the yellow switch on the TD4's gear lever (manual car)?

Hill Descent Control. Works in 1st and reverse only. Press it and push down, green light on dash and your ABS chatters away while you slide (or not) merrily down a steep, muddy slope. Weird while going backwards though.

have you not been reading...if you had a male sounding name,,,and probably cause youve been around here for a few weex,I'm sure you would have got the :search: from someone by now...I'm pretty sure youll get one soon, that'll be when the fun starts, get a haynes manual,(I think mine was odered from the bookdepository.com ? or sum such book supplier),maybe you should buy the book first.

Did the google thing and it's impressive, even tried the knob where a translation into dutch (flemish) is proposed but this sucks, the translation, not the knob...:D:D:D

Computer translation always sucks. :p Just give me a shout if you need some translation... ;)

Thanks cmdr. (Since I'm only captain Mainwaring I guess you're my superior ?? Or is captain higher in rank than commander. ?? Only military service I've done is 1-1/2 day back in end '60, was supposed to start my 1 year duty service 1st of june in '61 but due to circumstances not gone at all, so my knowledge of the military ranks is rather limited if not total:D:D:D) Will keep the offer in mind in case needed. Thanks again and have fun.
