Yayyyy! At last I have a problem - wing mirrors

I pushed my wing mirrors in to park on my neighbour's tight drive when the roofer came to replace some broken tiles (on my roof, obviously). Some little round tubular cookie cutters came through the bottom of the plastic stoppers on the hinge of each mirror and I can't get 'em back in. Do I need new wing mirrors now? If not, I might replace the mirror glass only to heated ones. Where would I plug the wire in from the heated mirrors? Thanks in advance if you respond.

I may be wrong but are the heated wing mirrors wired in with the heated rear screen?

That'd make sense actually, the switch being right of the steering wheel.

I only say that as that what happens in my car.
