I think I have a problem with my gear selector switch. When I move it into "D" sometimes I get a red light by the stick and a "D" on the dash. Then it goes out, but with very gentle pressure on the stick it comes back.
Not sure yet whether the switch is faulty, or if it just needs adjustment. I'll try tightening the cable at the box end first.
The manual says that replacement of the switch needs removal of the front pipe, others (on the forum here) say it's a 10min job.
Can anyone tell me for sure if you can do it without taking off the pipe?
