Seeing as were both Ulstermen I don't see how we can be slagging each others country off. we just see it's political historical and cultural heritage and national identity in a different way.

lets just agree that an HD clutch is a worthwhile improvement on a Hippoo (theres gotta be sumething to make it betta).

theres no point in discussing irish politics - yu wont get anywhere - if yu really want to discuss that - why dont yu both agree that one of the first invaders that still leave there "cutural heritage" were the Vikings - I dont hear any "Irish" slagging orf the Norwegians and asking fur compensation!

did i take the **** cos he's irish?? and he may not have bin given direct tech advice but someone that has none or little knowledge of how these things work and has bin told his clutch biting point is too high. would be under the impression that what he needs is a new HD clutch. which while may improve things isn't always the way to go.

and his description as has bin pointed out already is completly wrong and very likey to lead folk to spend money that they don't need to.

as one purpose of a forum like this is too try and keep costs down for members and other casual readers it need pointing out when something is miss diet nosed.

or would you in the spirit of PCness let it go and say nowt? or let it be corrected in true LZ fashion?

No you're right it should'nt go unnoticed and i'm not saying it should, all i'm commenting on is the content of what is said to someone. He is wrong about the biting point issue but i just think telling him and explaining why he's wrong is enough and getting into insult territory is a bit over the top regardless of how silly the statement. If someone has a clutch fault and reads this thread they not only will read his remarks but yours,mine and everyone else who said that the description is not right so you would hope they would not make the mistake you're suggesting.

but thats the thing they int insults.. you preceive it that way. its **** takin which is a different thing.. take redhand he int really a pikey but because of his circumstances we call him a pikey. daft gets it fer be old and fergetful, the socttish contingent get it fer being porridge wogs and tight with money, marcus for his love of all things nautical, its called friendly banter and **** taking. which is entirely different from insulting someone..

lets face it its nowt more than childish name calling fer a bit of light hearted fun. some folk don't see it that way and get really heet up about it others see it for what it is and join in. look at DK17 he's gotten some stick in the last few days but it dint mean i havn't sent him some bits for his landy free of charge.

they are plenty of other land rover sites that cater for folk that take life seriously and as far as i know there is only one like LZ, so for the sake of us childish ****s leave us alone and let us have wur fun while helping as best we can
