wrong fuel in tank

wife put petrol in td4 she drove it for 1.4 miles then realised what she had done! so i went to her took out pump/sender from tank drained off all fuel replaced pump and put in fresh diesel/finally got it started/but since then it has taken ages to start now a week later it wont start.any help would be appreciated.

has it done any miles since refilling with diesel

yes about fifty

it should have cleared through by now then,was it running badly during those 50 getting better or worse

hard to start but was running fine went to shop then would not start it was as though i had ran out of fuel but plenty in /turns over fast no problem

id start at intank pump does it have good flow ,then next pump near filter if its that type ,hen at hp pump is there good flow to it

i will check them thank its still outside shop !!! will get back when checked thanks
