OK, boot floor replacement panel, about £60, probably need the three crossmembers as well so another £60. Not too difficult a job to do so long as the rot hasn't spread into the rear wheel arches.

It's more of an indication as to the condition of the rest of the vehicle really.

Replacement front inner wings are about £60 apiece.

Assuming you can do the work yourself and assuming the sills and chassis are still in good nick (doubtful) it shouldn't be too bad, but, you will be buying a vehicle that 16-20yrs old (you didn't say the year) and has been used off-road to some degree or other so it' s value will be much less than the value of all the offroad bits the seller has put on.

It always amuses me that people spend hundreds and sometimes thousands on putting bits on a Discovery, without correcting the existing problems.

My advice for what it's worth is go and have a good look, everywhere, underneath. Take a tack hammer and tap away on the chassis and establish how solid it is - then bid the seller and figure that represents the condition of the vehicle EXCLUDING all the stuff put on.

I would have thought a figure somewhere around £500 would be about right.

Now, before you all fly off the handle, this sounds on face value to be a tarted up, old and rusty Disco, so it doesn't matter how many fancy bits have been stuck on it, it's still an old, rusty Disco.

Good luck

Dave

If it's your own and you're looking to sell you'd be better taking the goodies off it for future use and scrapping whats left.
If you are thinking of buying the goodies are worth nothing,
unless you have a use for them. Offer £200 and if not accepted walk away, theres plenty for sale.

200 and an almost full packet of Smarties.

Though the pack is still in use and may not have as many in at auction end ...

if you wanna IM me with a price I might be interested.. otherwise I'm up to 205 plus a full packet of smarties, a curly wurly and a handfull of beans that might or might not change your life...
