Why didn't my Range Rover just tell me my battery needed a litlle charging instead of pushing up every error code from gearbox failure abs failure traction failure and about a million others.

Was like a beeping disco in the with all that noise.

Hmmmph

Nothing simple for LR is there.:D

:D :D :D

Mine done exactly the same....Told me the whole car was dying...All except for the bloody alternator that was causing it!!!

Because it does! If the battery voltage drops too low, the ecu's can't function properly and so log faults

Thats all good but for the first few trys to start the car it comes up with gearbox fault and this sort of gets you worried that its gonna cost you loads.

Range Rovers should come with a heart attack warning code:D

a few months ago while parking i couldn't hear the reverse parking sensors beeping, no reverse lights!!! then i realized the headlamps where flashing on and of all on their own! and nothing else electrical worked at all, not a thing, and it wouldn't lock remotely either. engine started and run but not so "crisply" message center reported alternator fault and max 35mph??
i disconnected battery for a short while and all was fine then it happened again, i did the same and its been fine now for ages.
theres a radio ham round the corner from where it was parked and i wonder if he was transmitting?????
no problems since. (famous last words i bet)

well no! i had to reset all the windows, sunroof sad not working, and re tune radio, thats it. i disconnected it for about 5-10 seconds, just enough to reset things.
