Looking for an engine bay fuse box to replace my seriously tatty one.

Interesting.

Turns out mine is fine with just the cap missing, which isn't waterproof anyway, so I'll keep an eye out for a replacement and just make up an interim cover.
 
Nice find.

I found a source of the separate internal sections and also the "header" connector on the harness side, so I've managed to repair mine properly.

I also found the "extra" holder that can be slid in if you wanted to run something else off that box.

Finally, JLR have them back in stock:

 
The connectors and terminals are made by Lear (formerly Grote and Hartmann) -

So, I would guess that the complete fuse box is also made by them.

I'm still looking for a Lear part number for this.

I know the part numbers for the connectors, keeper bars and terminals.

It's the Lear part number for the fuse box frame that I'm looking for.
