Just fitted a freelander a bar and it came with spots. How do I wire them to the headlights? The spots have about 12" of cable and a plug with two pins on each one. any help appreciated, thanks. Spots and a bar are genuine Land Rover parts

if you want them to just go on with main beam and your not that savy with wiring your local motorworld /A1 sell "Ring Spotlight Looms " pre wired with all the relays and a fitting guide that a 2 year old could follow.

its realy quite easy.

Spots 12+ to terminal 87 on the relay. ( Don't forget to earth the spots )
12 + Switich OR Headlamp Main Beam to 86 on the relay.

Terminal 85 then needs to be connected to a good earth, for example using the spare negative spade on the battery terminal.

Terminal 30 should be connected via a 20-amp fuse to the positive terminal of the battery i would suggest using a ring terminal, as this will give the best connection.
