Wipers won't work defender td5

2003 td5 90

The wipers don't work on any of the settings. I have replaced the wiper stalk and I have replaced the delay relay and have replaced the fuse.

What else could be wrong?

By the way they worked fine one day and not the next, very sudden.

Have you checked that you are getting 12V to the motor?

Have you checked that the motor is properly earthed?

Turns out there was a dead spot on the motor and it would start from where it had come to rest. MAnuslly move wipers to another position and they will work

If may be that now it will work many times before it finds the dead spot again,could also be problem with park switch on motor.
