Wipers not returning properly

Morning all,

While this is absolutely the tip of the iceberg for my 110, it's irritating me, as previous defenders have been fine.

When using my wipers, when I click them back to "off", the blades literally stop in place, so I have to precisely time switching off so they go to their normal position.

I've replaced the wiper stalk recently - what else could it be? Is there a relay or owt that could be knackered?

Probably the wiper motor park switch, a clean may fix it or new on the fleabay. It is on the motor unit.

Ah, thank you both so much - this was doing my head in - will get a new switch ordered!
