So, call me stupid, but if I put 12v across the black and black/orange wires from the rear wiper motor assembly, the motor should drive, right?

And if it doesn't, the motor is knackered. Would that sound about right?

well, if you remove the lid that covers the parking switch, you can see which wires link directly to the motor.

Black from the motor goes to black on the plug. Blue from the motor goes straight to black/orange on the plug. Putting 12v across that would make the motor turn, surely?

I've had a look at rave but couldn't make much more sense than actually looking at the physical wiring on the assembly.

Edit: I'm just trying to rule out the basics before I go tracing wires in the cabin. I bought a 'new' motor off ebay from a seller with plenty of good feedback however applying power to the motor gives me zilch.

yeah - I'd been putting off this job for a while because I figured I'd be having to trace the wires as I'd tested the old motor using the same PSU.

Oh well, new motor in and all working!

Just need to replace 2 washer pumps now and we're all good!

Pop the pumps out and test them, easy enough to do and cheaper than buying new.
