Yesterday I re-installed the wipermotor. I tested it and it turns alright. BUt when I take of the power it stops where it is. It doesn't go to the 'rest-position'.
What should make it go to that position and how since the power is off?

The park switch circuit brings it back to rest .Check your wiring should be a green that goes to the motor which is live when wiper switch turned off.

o ok, thanks. now I understand.
I tested the motor with a plus and minus on the two wires ( mine only has two) and then it turns.
When I put a plus on one of the wires and the minus on the motorbody it doesn't do anything.

Its the only complicated bit of wiring on a series.
If it's only a one speed motor you only have two lives to worry about.
The first live from the switch, activates the motor. The second permanent live takes over when you switch off and continues to power the motor until the park switch on the motor is activated. The park switch is inside the white plastic box on the motor that the spade connectors are in.
You can burn the park switch out if wired wrongly so check the wiring first via a wiring scematic and if no luck buy a new park switch. They are about £15.

Thanks Bobsticle, it works like you said it would :)
But if this is the only complicated bit of the wiring..I took off the dashboard 7 months ago and yesterday connected all the wires back. When I turn on the ignition the oil- and water-temp indicators go to 'H', the direction-indicators don't work and the window-washer also do not work. I think I missed some connections..or the earth-wires are not connected correctly..

Could be many things. When I got mine only one side light was working. Yes nothing else, just one bulb. Took me about a week of evenings to sort it.
The only true faults where poor connections in the bullets and spades. It didnt help that most of it was wired wrongly.
