I can't work out how to install this.
Obviously, there is a clip-sized cut-out on the ball in the middle of the lever, but when i push the clip into the cut-out, it makes a leap for freedom and hides under the gearbox. I have tried moving the ball up into position in the round-hole bracket with the clip, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
I know the clip is not essential, but having bought it, it seems a shame not to use it.
