wiper fuse keeps blowing :(

Hey guys so just got my first landy and put it on the road , was driving in the rain tonight and my wipers stopped working , so when I stopped I discoved a blown fuse , replaced it with a 15 amp fuse and it blew straight away , I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what could be causing it I havent had a proper look yet as it was lashing it down and going dark

A direct short to earth will blow a fuse or in your case a low rated fuse. 20amp for a 300 series front wipers, but then I'm only guessing as I haven't a clue on what model of disco u have.

Sorry bud should of said xD , its a 1994 300tdi , well I swapped the fuses round last night for 1 last go and the started to work :s , however my radio wouldnt work and the lights on the buttons of it started pulsing like bright and then dim

Very strange, but strange stuff is 'sometimes' caused by iffy earth connections.
