Hi,
Where can I find detailed info on P38 wing mirrors - rave only seems to tell how to remove/replace the whole thing.

I can hear the motors turning but my mirrors dont move, cant understand why.

It's interesting (well, slightly) that despite all the headaches with them, nobody seems to have a troubleshooting guide for them or a decent set of information for them. They can't be that complicated surely?

My passenger one's decided it needs to go up in auto dip mode instead of down now and I can't cancel the auto dip. The drivers one moves ok but won't heat. Good old Rangies!

If the motors are turning but no movement sounds like you have stripped gears in unit.

Hi,

Its the drivers side that is faulth.

Got wacked twice in 1 day by white van man.

Want to find out how and what can be stripped down/fixed.

All advice appreciated.

There's a little ball joint connecting the motor to the mirror. This pops out when the get a belt. Fixing it is easy butttttttt getting the mirror off wthout breaking a clip is virtually impossible. They're really cheap so get 2 off britpart as you'll def break one.
