window winder!!??!!

ok, coming to Forth bridge tolls and went to wind down window to pay - the end of the window winder handle came off. Opened door instead.

Thought easy fix, went to fix it and theres no centre cap on the winder handle to pry off to undo the fixing bolt?

How on gods green earth do you get it off? Don't want to knacker it so unwilling to pull hard as of yet.

not a bolt....bit of a bitch ta get off...u gotta pry the door panel away from the handle and u will see a circlip....if u got a pair of longnose pliers with a bent end u can get to it and pull it out, otherwise a small flat srewdriver

Thanks for that Bushy - wasn't sure - thought it wight have gone onto a spline or summat - oh well..

what was wrong with the old way of them doing the winders?

Oh well, I'll go out and scratch the ****e out my door card and winder then...

You PAY to cross the bridge?

Bad .....

As you only pay tools going north, you should go north via the Kincardine Bridge, and then come SOUTH over the Forth Bridge, and you get over the Forth for free both ways.

You must have English ancestors.

and if yer going over the kinkcardink bridge at night yer can pull into the big lay by just before and partake in some dogging, so am imformed by ruperty

I figure the extra diesels more than a pound, plus you've got to go near to Falkirk which is never a good thing.

You know the more I look at my old ninety and compare it to my td5, stuff is made so much crapper than it was...
